Everest Base Camp | Oct 16 – Nov 1, 2025

The top of the world, the pinnacle of mountaineering achievement

The Mount Everest, known to locals as Sagarmatha, is undoubtedly on the bucket list of every climber. Who wouldn’t want to conquer the highest mountain on the planet? Reaching the top of the world, exactly 8,848.86m above sea-level, is no easy task, but Explore Nepal Himalayas expert team will be with you every step of the way – guiding you from the moment you sign up, all the way to the base camp and back.

Everest Base Camp is Nepal’s most popular trek made famous by the high altitude climbers who have succeeded in summiting Everest and perhaps even more remarkable by the climbers who have died trying. Everest Base Camp tours travel through the majestic Khumbu valley surrounded by snow-capped peaks such as Tabocha, Island peak, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and of course Mt. Everest the worlds highest mountain.

The Sherpa people in the Khumbu who inhabit this polarising valley are famous for their strength and resilience living and thriving in some of the worlds harshest conditions. We spend our time living in the tea houses that these families provide for the weary trekker.

Annapurna Base Camp | April 18 to 31

& Oct 1 to 14, 2025

Embark on a trek that you’ll never forget, where the rewards far outweigh the efforts

The Annapurna Base Camp is a small cluster of lodges opposite the Annapurna glacier. As you look up from the edge of the glacier, you come face to face with the Annapurna massif. Annapurna I, III and South, Gangapurna, Gandharvachuli and Machapuchare are all there to meet your gaze when your eyes rest upon them. The ABC trek attracts mountain lovers from all over the world. In October, when the views are known to be outstanding, expect to hear a variety of languages on the trail. Tea houses become convenient forums to discuss and exchange notes with strangers who could be from anywhere. You experience this kind of diversity on very few treks.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek beginning from a base in Pokhara is a great beginner multi-day trek for reasonably fit travellers. The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a spectacular out and back high altitude hiking route stretching through multiple environments in the Annapurna Sanctuary National Park. The trail starts off meandering through beautiful forest and terraces of rice paddies climbing all the way to Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4100m. The scenery quickly changes as you gain altitude from tropical forest to hiking in knee-deep snow among spectacular snow peaks.

Trekking in Nepal is an incredible experience. ABC trek is one of the most spectacular routes in the region. Many trekkers choose this route as a shorter and cheaper alternative to the Everest Base Camp trek. Annapurna Base Camp is surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the world; Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), the fishtail Machapuchhre (6993 m), and Hiunchuli (6441 m).
